SAIC works with the United States Department of Defense, the United State Department of Homeland Security and the United States Intelligence Community. It is the ninth largest defense contractor in the United States, and of utmost importance in matters of national importance.
So while spelling may not be on the top of their priority list, they made two common spelling mistakes on their site—benefiting and environment. Benefiting has only one “t,” not two, and en-vi-ron-ment is one of those words that you just have to learn. On the other hand, I'd rather SAIC work on projects such as Stargate and write reports for the anthrax attacks than worry about silly spelling matters.
Here are two of a possible 1,884 errors:
benefitting Suggestions: benefit ting, benefit-ting, benefiting, befitting, unfitting
(appears 1 times)
enviroment Suggestions: Environment, environment, enforcement, increment, informant
(appears 1 times)
