The National Broadcasting Company, known as NBC, is an American television network famously headquartered in New City's Rockefeller Center.  Formed in 1926 as a radio station, NBC was the first major broadcast network in the US.

It was on top during the pinnacle of the radio days and is now one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. The company has international alliances with other networks in almost every major city and has a close relationship with the Seven Network here in Australia.  

General Electric (GE) owns 80% of NBC, a $30 billion USD stake.
